I came across this book while the author, Jameeka, was doing a meet and greet at Barnes & Noble. She was incredibly kind and that is reflective in her story telling. This book made me think about my own siblings and our arguments. Great book for youngsters.
I met Jameeka at barnes and nobles, sweetest woman ever! The book teaches a great lesson that I, as a younger sister, definitely relate to! I highly recommend the book if you have kids growing up as it can teach them to be themselves and not compare themselves to others! Very good book and a very kind and sweet author!
I bought this book as a gift for my sister who collects children's books as part of her job. She was in love with the writing, art, and overall messaging behind the book. It came quickly, well packaged, and we couldn't be happier. Thank you!! -- Hillel
This book is not just for children, any adult can read it and gain some value from it! Wonderful book can't wait to recommend to friends and family!!
Having siblings can be hard. Especially when it seems that your sibling seems to do everything right while you struggle to do the same.
When Mila wishes on an evening star, a fairy appears. Will Mila wish her sister away? Will it finally be Mila’s time to shine outside of Wynter’s spotlight?!
Sometimes people make their successes look easy, but when you walk in their shoes you realize all the effort it's taken for them to get to where they are. I love this book’s messaging of being true to yourself and appreciating the hard work others do to be successful.
